Before the first booking, your pet's normal routine is written down, so care fits around your pet rather than the other way round. After each agreed visit you receive a photograph and a short update.
Gentlekin is occasionally supported by a trusted part-time helper. You will always be told in advance if anyone other than Priscila may care for your pet, and an introduction can be arranged where appropriate.

Gentlekin began when Priscila started helping neighbours care for their pets while they were working or away. Happy owners recommended her to friends and other local families, and what started informally grew into a trusted local service.
Gentlekin now brings that same personal care, familiarity and reliability to more pet owners in Wokingham.

Before the first booking, we record your pet's normal routine, veterinary details, emergency contact and any important behavioural or medical information.
Free introductory meeting
You and your pet meet Priscila before any booking is confirmed, so nothing is agreed until you are comfortable.

Keys are labelled without your address, stored securely and returned or retained only as agreed with you.
Updates after every visit
You receive a photograph and a short update after each agreed visit, so you are never left wondering.
Emergency process
Your emergency contact and registered veterinary practice are recorded before care begins, and you are contacted straight away if anything is wrong.
Insurance and checks
Gentlekin holds pet-care business insurance with Protectivity, a current DBS check, and accreditations in Dog First Aid and CPR, and in Dog Grooming.

Clear, straightforward pricing
Standard prices apply Monday to Saturday within the Gentlekin core area. Up to two cats are included in the standard visit price, and straightforward medication is included at no extra charge.
